Our Initial Training program has a Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) approach. Unlike most of the existing programs, we do not focus on in-depth general aviation theoretical knowledge only but rather on subjects closely related to the function of the Flight Operations Officer/Flight Dispatcher.
Our students will benefit from the experience and genuine situations shared by our talented instructors. Moreover, they will be confronted with multiple real case scenarios met in an operations control center every day.
Last but not least, during the last 2 weeks of classroom training, they will have the opportunity to be trained on a real Flight Planning system used by major air operators.
The IFOA leading Flight Operations Officer / Flight Dispatcher Initial training program is designed for Ab-Initio aviation enthusiasts without any prior experience. They can be graduated in FIVE weeks and earning an IFOA Flight Operations Officer certificate.
But also for other aviation professionals (navigation officers, crew controllers, operations assistants, air traffic controllers…) eager to enhance their knowledge or join a team working in an Operations Control Center at the Heart of the Flight Operations. They can be graduated in TWO weeks and earning an IFOA Flight Operations Officer certificate.
The job of a Flight Operations Officer has changed considerably over the past years; new technologies, a more competitive and dynamic industry, environmental considerations are only a few examples. At the IFOA, we ensure adequate training to enhance the safety and efficiency to the highest level required in this challenging and complex area of responsibility.
We will provide our students with a competitive advantage. They will be the best-prepared to join the aviation industry with a high level of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills far beyond the minimum requirements.
